DailyHistory.org policy is pretty straightforward.

1. Treat everyone with respect. 2. Be clear and concise. 3. Avoid historical jargon. Jargon rarely clarifies historical writing. 4. DailyHistory.org has four types of articles: articles that answer a historical question, historiographic book reviews, book-lists and interviews. Interviews may only be added by administrators. 5. Use common sense. 6. Use citations to support your arguments. You need to cite solid, historical books, articles or online resources. Avoid citing Wikipedia. 7. Original research is welcome, but it must be well sourced and make a compelling argument. If you do not want your article to be changed by community editors, you may request the an Administrator to protect or lock down your article. All articles are subject to editing by administrators. 8. Dailyhistory.org is not an encyclopedia. 9. Posting spam or vandalism will result in an indefinite suspension and blacklisting of your ip address. You may appeal your suspension to the Admin. 10. Amazon links may only be added by an administrator. Do not tamper with any Amazon links. Tampering or changing Amazon links can result in an indefinite suspension.
